NEW Solutions Benefits Notices

 

Health Insurance

When an Enrollee's authorized hours are 60 or more each pay period, the Enrollee is eligible for the NEW Solutions Group Health Insurance Plan. You may enroll in these plans within 30 days of your start date, within 30 days of your authorized hours increasing to 60 hours or more per pay period, during the annual open enrollment period, or due to a qualified event. There is no cost to the Enrollee for this monthly premium. The NEW Solutions benefits administrator will provide information about the plan and plan documents are posted in ADP under Resources-> Company Information-> Tools/ References.   Please note that, per Medicare regulations, NEW Solutions’ coverage will be your primary coverage.

Enrollment or waiving coverage is done online in ADP.  If enrolled, Aetna will send you an information packet containing your ID card.  Reach out to Benefits@NEWsolutions.org with questions.

2023-2024 Health Benefits Medical & Prescription Coverage

Dental & Vision Insurance
 

When an Enrollee’s authorized hours are 35 or more each pay period, the Enrollee is eligible to enroll in the NEW Solutions Group Vision Plan and/or the NEW Solutions Group Dental plan through monthly payroll deductions.  

You may enroll in these plans within 30 days of your hire date, within 30 days of your hours increasing to 35 hours or more per pay period, during the annual open enrollment period, or due to a qualified event. Premiums are paid one month in advance and are deducted from the first paycheck of each month. The NEW Solutions benefits administrator will provide information about the plan and plan documents are posted in ADP under Resources-> Company Information-> Tools/ References.

Dental & Vision insurance can only be cancelled without penalty during the open enrollment period, generally in August.

COBRA

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) provides you the right to continue group insurance benefits when you become ineligible (i.e., separation or hours reduced to less than the required hours per pay period) for coverage under the NEW Solutions’ group plans.

The NEW Solutions COBRA provider will send a packet containing information on how to elect continuation of coverage and the costs involved to your mailing address in ADP. You should receive this within fourteen (14) days after your date of ineligibility. If you do not, notify your NEW Solutions Field Office.
